SUPERMOON IN AOTEAROA
August 11th at 06:10 NZST
Photo opportunity at sunset
August 10th at 17:00
The moon rises just south of EAST, at 105 degrees, (about a handwidthh tot he right) be ready by 17:00 hrs .
Actually your first view of the edge of the moon could be at 16:55 at 15 degrees south of due East, along the horizon to the right of East.
Trick is to hold one hand up high just before sunset, check out the shadow, and that is very close to the direction toward the horizon where the moon will rise.
